This one-way air admittance valve features Sweet Spot technology, which opens at -0.01 psi and seals at 0 psi and above, with screened air inlets to protect the seal. Designed for use as a secondary vent, it allows air to enter the plumbing drainage system when negative pressure develops, preventing sewer gases from escaping. The valve closes by gravity to seal the vent terminal at zero differential pressure (no flow conditions) and under positive internal pressures. It is approved for vent pipes up to 3 inches and complies with ASSE Standard 1050 and 1051.
