The LePage 'Marine' epoxide syringe glue is a two part system consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener. It bonds metal, concrete, glass, fiberglass, ceramic, wood and certain rigid plastics and is used for surfaces exposed to water immersion such as PVC, copper, brass and galvanized pipes. Therefore it can be applied and will cure underwater. It is set in 10 minutes, cures to a grey finish and when cured, it can be sanded and drilled. It comes in a convenient syringe that dispenses equal amounts of both components. The excess of glue can immediately be cleaned with acetone before the adhesive sets. As for the cured adhesive, it may be cut away with caution using a sharp blade. It comes in a 25 mL format.
