For hardwood and engineered wood floors, this product helps to keep excess moisture away from the floor, reducing the risk of gaps and warping often caused by seasonal humidity. It contains no harmful chemicals, asphalt-based materials, or any other petroleum-based products. The 6-mil thick water-resistant silicone paper prevents moisture from penetrating. It won't deteriorate like wax, kraft paper, or Red Rosin paper. Its permeability rating makes it an ideal product for both hardwood and engineered wood. It allows wood planks to slide more easily than with any other underlayment available on the market. Chalk lines are clearly visible, and installation is straightforward. Each roll covers 400 square feet. Thickness and strength: 6-mil thick baked silicone paper, water-resistant, preventing moisture penetration.
